Alexander the Great while heralded for his personal achievement never acted alone. In fact, he had a network of advisors, tutors, and his own father that contributed to his growth as one of the world’s greatest conquerors. The following time-map not only shows the military strategies used by Alexander during his conquest, but it also illustrates and highlights how Alexander’s vast networks and allied relationships contributed to his success.

In doing this project, we are demonstrating that technology can be leveraged and used to present historical information in multiple ways. This time-map highlights Alexanders birth, early life and education, military strategies, leadership skills and traits, and ultimately his death through visualizations and brief descriptions.
